Xcel Training Camp at PVGC
On October 29, 2023, the Alberta Gymnastics Federation hosted their Xcel program training camp at Pine Valley Gym Centre. Over seventy gymnasts from Edmonton and Northern Alberta attended this day camp.

Pine Valley Gym Centre (PVGC) is pleased to take part in the Rochester School’s STEAM
(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) program, which offers course options for students in addition to their core subjects. One of these options includes gymnastics at our facility.
The 8-week gymnastics program in partnership with the STEAM program has been underway since September 2021, and PVGC wishes to thank teachers and students from Rochester School who came out to support the program. We hope everyone learns some new skills while having FUN!

TAWATINAW - The Pine Valley Gym Centre, a Tawatinaw-based gymnastics facility, continues its mandate as a hub of the sport in Alberta, yet again hosting provincial championship tryouts after a series of successful events and big-name teams have filtered through in the last three years.
The Alberta Winter Games 2020 tryouts for northern Alberta gymnastics clubs took place Dec. 8 in Tawatinaw, where 120 Junior Olympic (JO) Level 6-7 artistic gymnasts competed for a spot in the competition slated for mid-February.

Over one hundred Women's Artistic Gymnasts (WAG) from various clubs in Northern Alberta will be competing to secure a spot to compete at the 2020 Alberta Winter Games in Airdrie!
Organized by Alberta Gymnastics Federation, this event is open to the general public. Don’t miss this special opportunity to come out and cheer these athletes on!

We were honoured to be visited by the Vice President and Deans from Shanghai University of Sport (SUS) during November 2-4, 2019.
The group made their first stop at UCLA in California, then Pine Valley Centre and University of Alberta.
We are excited to work with them in the future to build collaborative sports programs and look forward to their future visit in the new year.
